EMIS ProScript Connect FAQs
We will need your pharmacy name, postcode and RXID to request the activation.
If you're scanning a ProScript barcode using PDM App and seeing the message "Data exceeded parameters" - this is being caused where patient records in ProScript have the entire address in Line 1 (Street).
To fix this issue, populate the address into the Line 2, Town/City and County fields, reducing the length of text in the Street field. The maximum length for "Line 1" in PDM is 50 characters.
If you're trying to scan the 2D barcode into PDM Web using the scanner that is attached to ProScript, this will not work as it is connected via a Comms Port directly into ProScript – you will need to source a separate scanner.
If you are using a separate scanner and the 2D barcode is still not being recognised by PDM Web but is scanning into PDM App, then the secondary scanner may require configuration to read 2D barcodes – please refer to the barcode scanner's manufacturer instructions on reconfiguration.
PMR providers allow us to integrate with their system in one-direction only - allowing data to be loaded into PDM, but not in the other direction.
We are constantly working with our PMR partners to improve our service, so this option may come in a future update.

Yes. PDM Web provides a simple customer data import tool that simply allows you to copy and paste data from a spreadsheet. Once your account has been created, log in and go to Menu > Tools > Import Customers.
This tool is very helpful when you have a large database of customer information to import.
However, before going ahead, please consider the following points:
- Many of PDM users' existing customer databases contained inaccurate and out of date information. It can actually take longer to correct inaccurate imported data than to just manually input current customer data.
- Manually inputting data allows accurate validation as well as the freedom to delete records of customers who have moved, are no longer active, or whose data is otherwise incorrect.
